Ok, so here’s the finished version of the WIP I posted yesterday.

I used Watercolor and some inkpen touch. A2 sized paper

The scene is from a corner of Quan Thanh Temple in Hanoi. The place is to worship one of the traditional Saints from the ancient time – St. Tran Vu (Trấn Vũ.

Despite the architecture of the place, it has nothing to do with Buddhism but Taoism (wiki it) – which is the traditional religion of our country.

There’s a super huge black brass statue inside this temple which portray St. Tran Vu. It was made in the year of 1667, 3.39 meters high and about 4 tons weigh.

This is one of the most famous scenic beauty of Hanoi, Vietnam that a tourist shouldn’t skip.

Another scenery exercise of mine. This is just a WIP with watercolor, I still have to give it some inkpen touch to finish it. So I’ll describe more details about the scene in the final one.

Cái này chưa thực sự hoàn thiện, vì còn phải lên bút sắt nữa, nhưng vì chưa chụp được bản lên bút sắt nên up tạm cái này đã.

Có lẽ đây là con màu nước ngon nhất của mình.

This is an old sketch for the first piece in new year. Too bad that I’m too lazy for a Lunar new year celebration with a water buffalo (an ox in Chinese culture).

Yeah, like I said, this is an old sketch in my sketchbook that I scanned a while ago but haven’t got time to color.

At first, when I drew this, I thought it’d be a perfect Avengers tribute with all the 4 member that will appear in the movie in 2011.

But, when I think back, I made 3 pieces with Shellhead in, 2 of them were Avengers, the other was just a portrait.

And I decided to give this “metal head” some space alone.

So, here it is, an wallpaper with Iron Man on it. 2 choices of size here:

Hôm qua sau khi post cái tranh Bolt lên deviantart thì chỉ sau 1 đêm đã được 40 cái fave. Đã thế lại còn được loupo (nick của 1 bà hoạ sĩ vẽ truyện trẻ con) khen thế này:

haha, I’m not that good. Last night before I fell asleep, I thought about my work and I have a feeling that I’m not good enough, may be I’m good, but Disney? not yet, even that’s exactly where I want to work .

Seriously ma’am, this is exactly the movie for your kids , it’s very nice, gentle and funny

I think your work is fabulous. When I graduated I worked in a print house for a while and the people from Warner Brothers used to come in with storyboards to reproduce. Your work looks very like the work of the artists working on those boards. You’re a fantastic graphic artist and it’s lovely to think that you could be aiming for something like Disney. Go for it!

Nghe xong cái câu này thì không hiểu sao thấy vui thế, vui khủng khiếp luôn.

Tất nhiên là sẽ cố gắng thôi, vào Disney đâu đơn giản thế :D, chỉ có là sẽ tạo 1 mục tiêu lớn hơn để mình cố gắng nhiều hơn 🙂

My final project on “Basic Shaping” subject – you can call it the “design” subject.

This require us to make a lamp with a prism lampshade, use any material we want.

What I chose to make it was bamboo chopsticks. And here we go. I used a 220 W light bulb for it.

It’s a shame that I couldn’t find a larger and cleaner place to shoot this than my own room.

Sẽ vẽ cái hình ở trên. Emma Roberts, cháu gọi Julia Robert = bác.

Bộ thiếp Giáng Sinh do nhóm Comictrio vẽ và thiết kế dùng để tặng bạn bè.

Chủ đề chính của bộ thiếp là nhóm Fantastic Four (marvel) vì Comictrio gồm có 3 thành viên chính là tớ, tta269 và kal_clarie_el (anh họ tớ) và thỏ heo làm quản lý. 4 thành viên này đại diện cho 4 nhân vật. Tớ là Reed Richards, thỏ heo là Sue Storm, anh họ tớ kal là Johnny Storm, và tta269 là The Thing.

Mỗi người trong nhóm đã tự vẽ nhân vật đại diện của mình, theo phong cách riêng (riêng tớ vẽ 2 hình reed và sue) và thiết kế, in ra thành thiệp để tặng bạn bè.

Chúc mừng giáng sinh (ko biết đây là lần thứ mấy chúc rồi :D)

Còn đây là video clip vụ phóng viên Iraq ném giày vào mặt Bush trong chuyến thăm ko báo trước của ông tới nước này. Kèm theo 2 chiếc giày là: “Đây là nụ hôn vĩnh biệt của người Iraq, con chó” và “Đây là cho những goá phụ và trẻ em đã bị giết”. Anh này nghe đồn là sẽ bị đi tù 7 năm, dù ở Iraq đang có những cuộc biểu tình phản đối việc giam giữ anh. Ném giày vào mặt người khác là hành động thể hiện sự xúc phạm nặng nề nhất trong văn hoá Trung Đông.

Thật tiếc là ném trượt cả 2 phát, chú này ném cũng hơi kém, mà fải công nhận là Bush phản xạ tốt thật :)). Phóng viên CNN còn fải suýt soa nhận xét.

Mới vẽ lại bài ký hoạ mực nho phố cổ. Vì cô yêu cầu dùng nét chứ ko dùng mảng để thể hiện.

Hôm đi tìm cảnh cùng thỏ heo rạc cả chân. Cuối cùng qđịnh lấy cảnh nhà bạn Minh Ngọc :)). Bạn Minh Ngọc vào xem có nhận ra nhà mình ko nhé.

So sánh phong cách với bức trước nhé.

Tối qua tự nhiên dở hơi ngồi cãi nhau chính trị với cả 1 thằng Mỹ. Giờ vẫn chưa xong. Có lẽ mình đang làm chuyện thừa thãi, người Mỹ thì làm sao hiểu nổi.

We’re going to have a Wolverine movie so a soon fan art for him won’t hurt right? (though he’s never wear this yellow pandex in the movies of X-men)

And to think of it, I’m sure there’s a cartoon show named “Wolverine and the X-men” is on right now on Kids WB or something that we can’t see it here anytime soon (CN Asia always gets the shows later than anywhere else)

Yup, she’s the best Heroine ever, one of the great trinity, princess Diana of Themysciria (did I mispell?)

I don’t really dig the Amazone look of her that they gave in comics and cartoon with lots of muscles and stuffs, so I’ve made my own Wonder Woman with more feminine look and different clothes.

Man, I always have problem with backgrounds.
